How do we define emptiness and form, in other words space? In what way is nothingness an essencial element for creation to manifest itself into physical presence?

Incarnation of the intangible is the essential casualty in the work of Austrian transmedial artist and musician Anna Gabriele.
Inspired by movements such as abstraction, mono-ha, gutai and surrealism she explores concepts of identity, existence and transformation through a wide range of artistic expression and media encompassing painting, installation art, photography, video and performance as well as live composition and songwriting.

Anna Gabriele was born in Vienna and has lived and studied in Tokyo, Japan between 2013-2014 and 2015-2020 as well as in Taipei, Taiwan between 2020-2022. Active in Europe and Asia alike, she is currently based in Vienna.
